Crew Management Module
The RentalPoint crew planner provides an
integrated graphical schedule to aid in effectively managing crew and
technicians. From version 10 onwards, the crew module
is included with the Enterprise
edition and is an option for the PRO edition.
The planner is broken down
into three sections:

The Unassigned
tab displays jobs that don’t have a technician assigned to
perform the task
·
The Assigned
tab displays the jobs that have technicians assigned to perform the task.
·
The Technician
List displays technician crew
assignments as well as any other activities (ie.
vacation, training, appointments etc)

Assign Tasks Quickly
Technicians can be assigned
to tasks as easily as dragging and dropping. Any tasks
that the technician's are assigned to will display in the bottom pane. This
includes jobs, travel time, vacations and other activities.
Auto Emailing
Notify all your
technician’s with the click of a mouse!
The dates and times of a
task may be changed by dragging the item. For example, a show gets bumped
back by an hour. With just a few clicks of the mouse all the technician
schedules and calendars can be adjusted to the new time. An automatic email
is sent notifying them of the changes.

- Support
for freelance technicians. Includes purchase order generation plus more!
- Select
colors for job schedule dates and view these on the planners, click here

- New
jobs can be created directly from the crew planner window.
- Bookings
can be opened and edited by double clicking them, click here for screen shot.
- A
percentage bar shows how much of the technician's time has been
allocated.
- The
calendar is adjustable to allow more or less days to be viewed at one
time.
- Several
different bookings can be opened and edited from this window.
Locking support is included to prevent multiple operators editing the
same data at the same time.
- The
planners can be filtered by Venue, Show, Project, Task, Booking,
Technician or Labor Designation, in addition to the standard RentalPoint scopes of location, project

Crew Calendar
The crew calendar displays a
more detailed view of a technician's schedule.

Reports
Find out how much profit you are making with the
click of a mouse! The Labor Revenue report shows estimated cost
vs. client charge as well as the actual cost. Report by project
manager, crew chief, labor group or designation. Click

- Technician
Utilization - forecast how much
time has been allocated to jobs versus how much time is available. Click here for a screen shot.
- Technician
Show Sheet - displays a listing of the scheduled
assignments for each day of a booking. Click here for a screen shot.
- Expense Report - provides a breakdown of expenses by

- Technician
Timesheet - provides a timesheet
that can be used for payroll. It shows start and end times as well at
the standard, overtime and double time hours worked. This information is

- Technician
Schedule - provides a list of all the crew
assignments within a given time frame, ordered by technician. Each technician’s
assignments can be printed on a separate page to allow them to be given
